Parrot Mountain Bird Sanctuary

If you’re going to be traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee any time soon, do not miss this amazing, family must do activity!! It’s called Parrot Mountain and Gardens. Here you will get to see and interact with the most beautiful tropical birds. We were able to experience this bird sanctuary and it’s definitely on our top list of things to do.

As a family, we are always trying to create new memories and do different things. Visiting this bird sanctuary still has the kids talking about how much fun they had. It was definitely a trip to remember. They have hundreds of beautiful birds from all over the world and tons of plants with the most vibrant colors. There are birds that are for viewing purposes only, and then there are birds that you can pet, hold and feed. You definitely don’t want to forget your camera when you come here, because the beauty of this place is a sight to see.

One of the highlights was feeding the birds nectar. We were given cups full of nectar and as soon as we walked into the birds territory, they gracefully swarmed us to get their sweet treat. It was so pretty to see these beautiful birds all over the kids and definitely something they will always remember. We still laugh at the fact they had birds on top of their heads. Watching the kids interact with the birds was such an awesome experience. Exposing them to the beauty of God’s creation up close and personal was amazing. If you are traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, definitely add this to your to do list.
